Even though I despise the unmagnificent unmighty Magpies I would like to raise a topical discussion about one of their players (okay I lost a bet from Wayne).
The player I’m going to highlight was probably more disliked by collingwood fans than fans of other clubs who hate collingwood. He was a man mountain of a brick shithouse who probably would have been better being a champion body builder because like a body builder he didn’t move on stage to much except to pose.
Much to my brother wayne’s despair I like to refer to him as a ‘road worker’ who appears to do nothing and be somewhat lazy but like a road worker got rewarded with a big pay day winning the 86 Copeland Trophy.
His father Graeme was a 2 mt tall Ruckman who played magnificently in arguably Collingwoods greatest premiership. The one in 1958.
The player I am bringing to this topic is Wes Fellowes the biggest man who bigger than Rene Kinks.
I didn’t mind watching him play because I loved the collingwood cheer squad at Victoria park hurling their classy abuse at him even though he won the Copeland after mark Williams and before Darren Millane. which shows what geese Collingwood fans are.
